Wraith Garuda are not just the future of heavy metal—they are its shockwave reborn in fire. Forged in 2021 when childhood Bro’s Aaron Stanley (guitar/piano/vocals) and Kai Alexander (guitar/piano/vocals) picked up their axes at ages 11 and 9, the band’s origin story is already the stuff of legend. Their debut performance—a blistering cover of "Master of Puppets" at Kai’s 5th-grade talent show—left 300 audience members stunned, and thanks to a viral video now with over 26,000 views, thousands more across the internet have witnessed a true beginning. From the curtain’s rise, when they invoked Judas Priest’s Guardians before ripping into Metallica at full BPM intensity, Wraith Garuda proved they weren’t children playing metal—they were metal incarnate.

Between 2023 and 2025, the band weathered lineup changes before solidifying into its current form: Aaron Stanley (rhythm and lead guitar/piano/vocals), Kai Alexander (lead guitar/piano/vocals), Kieren (drums), and Lily (vocals). Together, they embody a ferocious chemistry that channels the melodic steel of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, the operatic power of Queensrÿche, and the modern bite of Avenged Sevenfold, DragonForce, Edge of Paradise, Primal Fear, Powerwolf, Amorphis, Periphery, Wings Denied, Smash into Pieces, Ghost and others.

Their journey has already crossed paths with their heroes. In 2025, internationally acclaimed band Edge of Paradise invited Aaron and Kai to perform in the music video for The Other Side of Fear from their album Prophecy. Their extended guitar duel lit up the video’s climax in the second half, marking Wraith Garuda’s first official entry into the global metal stage.

Wraith Garuda’s essence is both classic and forward-looking: soaring vocals, thunderous riffing, and technical precision fused with youthful audacity. Their lyrical explorations are still evolving—threads of mythology, personal struggle, and futuristic visions are emerging as they hone their craft. The band is currently writing and composing their first original works while launching their aptly named “There From the Beginning Tour,” a series of hometown gigs that give fans a front-row seat to watch history being made.
