Wraith Garuda® is the sole artistic expression of Aaron Stanley (lead vocals/lead and rhythm guitar/piano/composer) and Kai Alexander (lead and backing vocals/lead guitar/piano/composer). Forged in 2021 when these childhood Bro’s picked up their axes at ages 11 and 9. The band’s origin story is already the stuff of legend. Their debut performance—a blistering cover of "Master of Puppets" at Kai’s 5th-grade talent show—left 300 audience members stunned, and thanks to a viral video, tens of thousands more across the internet have witnessed a true beginning. From the curtain’s rise, when they invoked Judas Priest’s Guardians before ripping into Metallica at full BPM intensity, Wraith Garuda proved they weren’t children playing metal—they were metal incarnate.

Between 2023 and 2025, the band invited a number of musicians to play live on stage with them. Currently that includes Kieren on drums, Clark (Bass) and Lily Valentina (vocals). Their covers regularly invoke the melodic steel of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, the operatic power of Queensrÿche, and the modern bite of Edge of Paradise, Soen, Avenged Sevenfold, DragonForce, Primal Fear, Powerwolf, Amorphis, Periphery, Wings Denied, Smash into Pieces, Ghost and others.

Aaron's and Kai's journey has already crossed paths with their heroes. In 2025, internationally acclaimed band Edge of Paradise invited Aaron and Kai to perform in the music video for The Other Side of Fear from their album Prophecy. Their extended guitar duel lit up the video’s climax in the second half, marking Wraith Garuda’s first official entry into the global metal stage.

The band's two founding members are both classic and forward-looking: soaring vocals, thunderous riffing, and technical precision fused with youthful audacity to create a vision these two bro's have taken to the forge. Their lyrical explorations are still evolving—threads of mythology, personal struggle, and futuristic visions are emerging as they hone their craft. In 2024, after returning from a life-changing journey to some of humanity's oldest civilizations in the far east, Aaron and Kai locked themselves down to write and compose the band's first series of original works.

As Metal Hammer once wrote of artists like Aaron and Kai: “You can’t fake this kind of fire—it either burns in your veins or it doesn’t.” With Wraith Garuda, the flame is undeniable. The metal world is watching, and the next chapter is only just beginning.
